"Our kitchen was over 35 years old and looked it. We decided to replace the cabinets, counter, and sink. But we didn’t know where to begin; like most people, we’ve heard stories about renovation disasters. We found a local kitchen design center and scheduled an appointment. We liked their selection and asked about installation. They gave us two names of contractors they work with and we scheduled a meeting with each one.

 

After meeting with each contractor, our decision was obvious to us. Livia of Dimensions 3D has an enthusiasm for her work that is unmatched in our experience. We needed someone to provide guidance for each step in the process and Livia delivered. She took us to her preferred plumbing supply vendor where we picked out a sink and faucet. We got those items at her contractor’s discount. Then she took us to her granite countertop vendor where we selected a slab, also at a contractor’s price. At each vendor, Livia made recommendations that helped us make decisions.

 

When construction started, Livia gave us a spreadsheet that documented who would be at our house each day of the project. And if she said the electrician would show up between 8:00 and 8:30 AM on Tuesday, he was there on time. All of the craftsmen she provides (plumber, electrician, plasterer, cabinet installer, granite installer) were polite, very skilled, worked hard, and cleaned up when they were done. Each day, Livia would show up to monitor progress and answer questions.

 

Due to a cabinet design center mis-measurement, two cabinets had to be reordered. If not for that error, the project would have been done in two weeks. And there were no surprises cost-wise; the detailed contract specified what we would pay for each step and that’s what we paid.

 

If you are thinking of a remodeling project, I would recommend dimensions3d without reservation. They are skilled, honest, and care about your project as much as you do."

In three short months, Dimensions 3D doubled our living space and kept their promise to be completed before Christmas, despite several surprises that were found in our old home and yard that required additional work. Livia listened to what we liked and came back with a design that we would have never imagined on our own. "We had Dimensions3D redo our kitchen: granite countertops, all new appliances, build and install an island, remove wallpaper and paint the walls, refinish all cabinets, rewire the kitchen (and update the electrical panel for the whole house), and put in a travertine tile backsplash and new floor. Livia had wonderful design ideas. She helped us pick out appliances, granite, colors, and flooring. The result is a wonderful kitchen to cook in and a beautiful kitchen to look at. The work was done quickly and neatly, and the workers were all pleasant. Everyday, the kitchen, which was shielded from the rest of the house by plastic barriers, was left clean and dust free.
